I am now desperate because I cannot find a solution to my problem.
Following problem
I have a video that I want to cut: 3840x2160 and 29.97 fps. As a raw film, it runs smoothly on the computer.
Now I create a project and import the video via proxy. The preview runs normally (yellow marking in the timeline)
Now I want to render the video (still without any cuts or effects). The sequence settings are identical to those of the clip. If I now render directly in the timeline, I only get a still image with occasional jerks in the preview. (green marking in the timeline) Of course, this also applies if I render the video via export.
I've tried quite a few things, but I haven't found a solution.
To try it out, I imported a 3840x2160 clip and 59.97 fps via proxy in the same project. I adjusted the sequence settings accordingly. If I render this clip in the timeline or via export, there are no problems. The clip runs as it should.
Why can't I render correctly at 29.97 fps?
