I currently have Premiere Pro 2020 in my classroom. We are trying to open files that are 2018 version and we get an error (please see attached).

We have tried opening 2020 and importing in which is something I was told to try. We still get the same error.

If anyone is familiar with "LearnKey" curriculum that's where the student files are coming from.

I appreciate any help with solving this issue.Adobe Pr Error.JPG

That is simply the 'missing media' locating dialog. Not an "error" message per se.

You need to click the "Locate" button, and it then gives you a dialog where you can navigate around your computer's drives. Go to the drive and folder with the media stored on them, and select the top file. You should be able to add that file, and Premiere will also add any other 'missing' files in that directory.
