Optical flow does not work when ramping from high speed

I use a lot of slow motions in my editing.. and optical flow just decided not to work out of nowhere.. I've applied optical flow on my clips and even rendering it still makes it super choppy.. the clip says that it's on optical flow but the clip just won't smoothen it out, and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Some of my clip's speed goes from 1000%+ down to below 30% and that will not smoothen the clip out when it's in slow motion. I've tested this... optical flow will not work if the speed ramps down from above 105%.. it used to work before but now it doesn't for whatever reason... I've tried editing it in another sequence and in another project.. doesn't work. Definitely not a memory or GPU problem...  don't really know if that matters. But yeah... Any help would be greatly appreciated
