New Job and I have to sit at a PC. Ugh! Fast but there are things under the hood I am mystified about.

– First, I can see and import files from our network server into Premiere OK but when I seek an AE comp using dynamic linking, I cannot see the network drive. Weird.
– Second, un-rendered audio cuts off after a few seconds of playback. There are waveforms but no audio. Stopping and restarting playback is a temporary fix that lasts 5 secs and cuts out again.
These two issues are creating major headaches for me. My system specs are below. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi Austin,

As an Apple guy, myself, I have to use Windows at work, as well. Yeah, ugh! Lol...anyway, I'll tackle your first question.

A workaround is to create a shortcut to the folder on your desktop using Windows Explorer. Then you can link things through the Media Browser.

OR

You can just deselect 'Use Media Browser' in the Link Media dialog box, Premiere then uses Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS) and you can find your network drives in the normal way. Personally, this is what I prefer to do.
