Hello.

I work with Premiere Pro 15.1 and the play button keep pausing the video a lot of times while I'm playing it. Here's an exemple: https://www.loom.com/share/5c91bcf0412f4186b62d01e114a2af91

I restarted the PC and also cleaned up the desktop to make sure I have more than enough space to work the program. Nothing. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thank you!

I would recommend trying the following -

  • Lower the playback resolution from 1/2  to 1/4 or lower

                      or

  • Because your working with .mp4 video files so go to > Preferences > Media > Enable Hardware Accelerated decoding

                     or

  • Go to File > Project settings > General > Video Rendering & PlayBack > Change to mercury playback engine Software only.
                or
  • Check the Memory allocation in Preferences > Memory.
