Once I have completed my video, using multiple layers of video and audio I want to add closed captions. When I do the playback of the video is really choppy. The timeline indicator jumps around and the audio and video lags. It makes it difficult to sync text with audio. I am playing the video at 1/4 resolution to help the issue, but that does not seem to work.
It is known that virtual machines are less efficient and slower than a physical computer. Premiere Pro requires all the power possible because of its nature of work (video, images, audio, etc). Also, depending on the version of Pr you are using, the tech specs of your system are a bit low. If you can, install Premiere Pro natively on your system, not from a virtual machine.
