Playback lag with new update??

Is anyone else experincing awful playback lag with the new adobe updates? 

Everything was running smooth before, I have a very fast machine and once I updated it has now went very choppy. Even with everything rendered. 

Even if I go back to an old version its now still choppy?

If anyone has any experience in this issue please send some links
