Playhead extends to 3 seconds, cannot cut inbetween

Hi everyone,

I'm doing a new project and I've noticed that my play head now has a little extention that goes for 3 seconds. If I want to cut and edit my clip, I can't cut it at the exact point I need because the playhead skips 3 by 3 seconds. Does anyone know why this happens or whats the solution for this please? It's never happned on my previous projects before. I'm quite new in Premiere. Thank you for any help!

They are not seconds but frames. Might be just a drawing error.

Do you have your OS scaled.

How are you 'cutting' as there are so many ways: which tool are you using

Just using the blade or 'C' tool. But even if its just frames, do you know why it's happening or what I can do to remove that?
I reopned my old projects and they don't have such a 3 frame extention. Only my current project.
