PP Project not writable

Hello,

I am a freelancer who works for a gov dept. I was working on a project in the office, I copied it across with all the assets etc to my hard drive. Something that has worked perfectly in the past.

When I got home and opened it on my MacBook Pro 2018 - it said Project Locked - cannot make project writable because "editor" already has it open for write.

Now I had unchecked the locked option in Preferences -  Collaborate and chosen Adobe Anywhere - figuring this would mean I could edit this project anywhere on any system under any Adobe subscription. But no. Apparently not.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Next to your project file in the finder level, there should be a file with a .prlock extension.  Delete this and your project will be unlocked.

Go into the OS file management app ... Finder in Macs, Explorer on Windows. Navigate to the folder where the project file is stored. Delete that .prlock file.
