Hello everyone!
I'm having trouble with a multiclip sequence. I can edit the sequence live with no problem, but when I
add an edit to the multiclip in the timeline PPro crashes immediately and I have to create a recovery version of the project file. I tried working with 1/8 resolution, I deleted all prefs, created a new project nothing seems to help.
The same thing happens when I move a clip in the timeline above the last video track (for creating a new track) - that also makes Pr. crash.
So does adding or deleting multiple video tracks. The interesting part of the last two errors mentioned is that every time I restart and create a new project version - the last action (adding or deleting tracks) is performed when I open the project. The edits to the multiclip are not.
I'm on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM running Big Sur
The footage is H.264 1080p coming from a Canon 5D Mark3.
I have edited longer multiclip projects with 6-8 cameras with this setup (not in full res display)
and even mixed footage so performance should not be the issue.
Any thoughts?
