Premere Pro editing panel glitching after importing anything

So iv'e been trying everything I could from restarting my computer and using different versions even the 13 versions and it's still been happening. I import the audio which is three something minutes then one png and it still works fine but then after that anything else I import it starts glitching, the editing panel is the one that glitches after i import a picture or a video, and I don't even have to put it in the editing panel it just starts glitching out then the moment i ctrl z the remove the imported file it goes back to normal. Please help.

Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card.  There have been issues with nvidia graphics cards which require either reverting or updating the driver...    Might tell us your source properties and sequence settings...

there are issues with your video card.  check to see what version of the driver you have and there's supposedly an update available from nvidia that may fix the problem.

I've updated my graphics card to the latest updated and yet the same problem seems to happen.
