Premier pro not reading my sd card!

Hello everyone, I have been shooting video on my cannon m50 which has a PNY 64gb sd card however when I insert it into my hp spectra 360 and open up PP none of my files show up. They do however show up when I open the file normally through my documents tab. Can anyone please help or explain what is possibly the issue.

I never try to read a memory card in PPro, since as soon as you removed the memory card the link is lost and PPro can't see your work

Copy the files to a hard drive folder and have PPro look there

An external or internal hard drive?

either should work, but the faster the drive the better
