I just built a new computer and while everything seems to run well otherwise, my editing programs both adobe and media composer seem to not be able to handle anything,
more than enough times ive had premiere freeze on me and completely crash my computer and after delving into multiple different methods to fix this (ie deleting cache and render, updating drivers, reinstalling the programs, etc) nothing seems to be working which is frustrating since i built this computer for the sole purpose of editing for my job.
Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter •ATI Driver https://www.amd.com/en/support There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version
