Premiere constantly crashing when working with After Effects overlay

Hello guys!

I working on Premiere 14.3 & After Effects 17.1.4

I have both Premiere & After Effects open, I have a Linked Comp overlay in Premiere from AF.

I'm switching between the two to edit the AF project as I'm working on the Premiere project...

Premier keeps crashing! Like all the time!! 

Any help or advice? 

I've tried to chat via help feature in Abobe Cloud... Been on hold for hours serveral times!
