On latest Adobe Premiere Pro CC, when trying to export a 1080p or lower quality h.264 video of a 4 minute length project that renders 25+ clips in parallel, for a sequence that is longer than a few seconds, I experience one of the following issues:

  • "Encoding" freezes and there is no usage of CPU and GPU. After cancelling, Adobe Premiere Pro no longer is able to render any frames within export window or renders black (GPU 1 state within Task Manager always stays on Copy)
  • Export simply fails with a failure to render a frame
  • Adobe Premiere Pro crashes with a Send Report window
  • Adobe Premiere Pro crashes without a report window

Tried removing all markers for the encoding freeze issue without.

Laptop specs:

  • CPU model: Intel i7-9750H, 2.6GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • RAM type: DDR4
  • SSD: 256 GB
  • HDD: 1 TB
  • Graphics card model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (next to newest non-creators driver)

Will try to disable GPU acceleration/CUDA. Though trying software encoding did not make any difference within the Export Media window.
