Premiere Growing Files AVF

We use Tools On Air (ToA) just:in software to ingest a ProRes LT file into our storage, import into Premiere and edit live highlights of soccer matches.
We had this message from ToA:
Due to Appleā€™s framework changes and the EOL of QuickTime, we had to switch to the newest framework - AVF - from Apple and this is using a different way of writing the data - segmented writing - and this is working fine with Final Cut Pro, when it comes to growing file. Unfortunately Adobe Premiere is not recognising this at all and it just display the file with 5sec and only at the end of the recording there is an update to the file duration. We are already in contact with Adobe about this. As a workaround we support ProRes in a MXF container and there the growing file works as before, which means same as it did with the last version and mov containers.
We tested different flavours of files, and are not getting the performance we had with ProRes MOV.
To further cloud the issue, ToA have said if we purchase the linux box version of their solution we wont have the issue, which suggests to me its not a Premiere issue but something on the ToA side?

We have tested and ProRes was not longer working so we stuck with the old version of ToA. However its raising its head again and ToA have suggested that Adobe are yet to fix the issue. I am struggling to find any info on the subject and wondered if anyone had any insight?
thanks

A bump on this thread, and also an update. We are using AVCi100, but experiencing a lot of Premiere crashes particularly when playing around the end point of the video file as it grows.
