Premiere lag when altering the end of the latest .mogrt

When subtitling videos in premiere, I tend to get lag when changing the most recent subtitle mogrt. Meaning the one furthest out in the composition. It only seems to lag while dragging the mogrt to make it longer or shorter. All mogrts I attempt to edit ahead of the latest one do not lag at all when stretching the subtitle, or making it shorter.

try to switch everything off or disable but leave this last mogrt,

if it does not lag, then the problem is not with the mogrt, switch

the mogrt off and turn on everything else, if it still lags, the problem

is probably with the footage, so try to delete the render files from sequence...

consider also cleaning the media cache and reset the preferences...

you can also use captions for subtitling in premiere pro
