Premiere Pro 14.3.1 bin naming bug

Since updating to Premiere Pro 14.3.1, I have noticed I can no longer name or rename a bin when added to my project!

What's causing this? It was working in the previous update leading up to this latest one. I had to revert back to 14.3 and it's working as should now. There were some other odd issues where my Premiere Pro wasn't recognizing my file paths and I had to manually relocate them. Anyone else encountering these issues??

It works here on Windows 10.

Many odd things can be solved by trashing the Preferences: FAQ: How to reset (trash) preferences in Premiere Pro?

Try it and report back.

I'm on Mac Catalina. I guess I'll try that route after my current project is complete.

Thanks for the guidance.

Also ... anytime you update ... dump the cache/media cache database files before starting to work. That fixes some of these issues.

Thanks Neil, this was the trick that was needed. I dumped the cache/media and all is good now!

Much appreciated.
