Premiere Pro 15 causes VPN disconnect

Premiere Pro 15 is installed on my company Dell Workstation, which I am connected to remotely from home via a VPN connection, while working on my PP15 project, I was disconnected from work computer 4 times in about 20 minutes, each time all apps were shut down and I lost any unsaved data. I installed PP 14.9 (previous version), recreated the same project and no disconnection issues.

Are you certain this wasn't coincidence? The way you are remotely connected to a machine should have no bearing on whether or not Premiere works: The VPN software is on your home computer, not your remote computer. Your remote apps shutting down sounds like an issue local to that machine, not Premiere interacting with your VPN.
