Good Morning,
Problem: Importing .MTS files into Premiere Pro 2019 & 2020 both result in cutoff or no audio in the video clips. This is the case when I use media browser, other computers, newer version of windows (latest), windows 10 v1909, reinstalled, converting files using media encoder, etc.
What Works: Changing the file extension to .M2TS. Most clips are fine, about 20% of them are not.
Is there any word on any long-term solution to this issue? I work at a TV station and its driving my photo journalists crazy with this issue. It's starting to make them want to go with another editor.
