Premiere Pro 2021 crash on start up on Mac

I'm using a MacBook Pro, early 2015, 16gb ram. Catalina 10.15.5

Every time I try to launch PremPro 2021 it crashes on start up. I have seen many users on the forum experiencing the same problem but it seems many of them are on Big Sur.

I've deleted the PP 2020 prefs.

First Question is will PP 2021 not work on Catalina because PP 2020 works flawlessly?

2nd question is is there something I need to do to fix the issue?

I've also seen posts with links to lengthy articles and time-consuming trouble shooting but unfortunately I don't have much time to invest in that process and I am not a techie.

Can anyone help?
