Premiere Pro and Blackmagic Capture Issue

Hi All,

MacBook Pro, Catalina 10.15.6. Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle

Since upgrading to PPro 2020, I find that the capture window is restruicted to the lower left quarter of the window. Attempting to look at the settings causes PPro 2020 to crash. There is no similar problem with Blackmagic's Media Express application. So I think something awry within PPro.

Anyone else seeing this?

Andrew

You should probably file a bug report.

Hey Andrew,

I will be following your post, I am having this exact issue as well and have yet to find a fix. It definitley seems like an Adobe bug, just not sure where to go to report or find a solution. We did find that if you click on the top left corner of the screen the image fills the window properly, but clicking out of it changes it back to the lower left quadrant.

Yes it does. The small preview window though makes it difficult to see what I need to see. And the freeze when trying to change settings is the larger concern.

Why not just use scene detection. Capture entire tape and delete what you dont want.
