I have the 5.5 creative suite and it has worked fine for years. All of a sudden Premirer pro starts to laod and then disappears. Do i have to reload the whole of the discs in order I assume to repair the one programme?

Follow the instructions provided on screen. It will tell you which disk to use.

The same thing happened to me. The helpdesk expert tried to fix it and didn't. He uninstalled and reinstalled. Didn't work. Then he fiddled around with Windows and deleted my Microsoft Office email accounts, all my contacts and desktop icons. I'm under a deadline and can't get this to work. May have to try to learn a Microsoft video software to avoid disaster and then get FinalCut Pro or something other than Adobe.

Might want to upgrade to a more up to date program instead of using CS5.5.

If you are on Windows 10, a Windows update could have killed CS5.5.
You might want to try System Restore.

Hi Bob
I am still on windows 7. I have tried to reload Premiere from the discs but
it still goes so far loading the programme then disappears. Photoshop,
Encore and After effects are working fine
