After around a minute of a new project my entire interface stops responding properly. It seems like actions can still be done but nothing is displaying properly. For specific example, when opening folders on the effects panel the folder does not open until I resize the window. After dragging a clip on the timeline it dissapears until I place it, so I cannot tell where it is going to be placed. PLEASE HELP!!!!

What hardware and OS. How do you open PP, with click the icon or double-click a project shortcut? Give details and not just the end result. Screen shots if words fail you. 🙂
