Premiere pro keeps crashing

Hi 

I wanted to make a video on premiere, it would work for a few minutes before freezing my whole computer and turning the brightness right up. Some time is would stop it self but when it does ,y work is just a white square and nothing on premiere would do anything.

Any Advise?
