Premiere Pro not functioning properly

When I open any project my workspace doesn't fully open. When I click EDIT at the top, then everything populates however when I try to click on anything, it doesn't respond properly. For example, when I try to change from Graphics to Editing, it doesn't register. Then I click EDIT at the top and it shows that I switched to Editing however my side space down't populate with the editing options. I made a project with absolutely no problems a week ago and now I can't get anything to get properly on Premiere Pro. What happened since then that has caused this app to completely crash?

Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and your source properties and sequence settings. 

Does your system meet minimum hardware requirements?

As your project gets more complex if you have a marginal system, things may go south.
