I'm using premiere pro on iMac and sometimes I get this pixelized look.

Clips are MOV file that I shoot on iPhone.

Rendering is set as GPU Metal.

It only appears in an exported video so I cannot tell until I wait for the export process.

I have no idea where to look to fix this error so hopefully, any of you has a knowlege about this.

Thank you for your help.

iphone footage is usually variable frame rate which can cause these sort of problems.

use mediainfo to determine whether your source is variable or constant frame rate

https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download

if it's variable use handbrake to convert to constant frame rate

https://handbrake.fr
and here's a tutorial on how to use handbrake
