Premiere pro screen recording problem

Hello anyone!

I just updated my mac book pro to big sur; whenever I screen record anything off chrome or safari and then import it on Premiere pro, and it imports fine, but the screen recording itself is laggy and distorted. But whenever I play the screen recording on QuickTime, it looks fine. I'm not sure it's not a Macbook (It's the latest one), and I just updated Premiere pro. If anyone can help, it will be greatly appreciated!

If the footage is variable framerate convert to constant framerate with Handbrake before bringing into Premiere.
