Premiere Pro Update 14.8 will not work

I have the NVIDIA and tried installing driver. It does not allow the download. I went back and unistalled to previous version 14.7 and it still will not work. The timeline freezes, clips won't load, cannot click anywhere on the screem. This is soooo frustrating. I have a ton of content to edit.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

Make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).
