Premiere Pro V14.7.0 (Build 23) Crashes when I open a second project.

Hi Folks,

Yesterday I didnt have this problem. This morning however, when I open a second simultaneous project, the system crashes. Dead as a dead thing. Microsoft get their little data burst and I get to start again.

I can open the first project fine, but opening the second is the problem.

If I open the second one first, then open the first one second, it crashes in the same way i.e. the problem is not a corrupt project file.

Any thoughts on this anybody?

What are the system specs(OS, RAM, CPU, GPU)? 

Please try these steps and check if it helps.

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 48.0 GB

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz, 4200 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Name Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

Name NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

So, I had a look at your suggestions. Nothing moving there. My cache is regularly dumped but I'm not going to reset my preferences just yet.

I have worked out that the issue seems to be related with projects that share resources, so through a process of elimintation Im trying to see where and why. Its a strange one.
