Premiere Pro (v15) not remembering OS window settings

Every time I import/export a file or open a new file and Premiere opens the finder window, the window is set to a completely different view setting. This is difficult because the left column is very narrow and I can't read the list of locations. I'm reqiupred to expand the column before I can search. AE is doing the same thing. Just using the OS works fine - windows reopen with the previous settings. Can anyone help?

If I do Command+I to import, the Finder window opens up at the last location from which I imported media, regardless of when I imported it. If this is the same Pr session as the previous import, the left column remains sized exactly as I left it. If it is a new Pr session, the location remains the same, but the left column is shrunk to a default size.

If this seems like unreasonable behavior to you, please put forward a suggestion or feature request here on how you expect it to behave. Thanks! 😀
