Was wondering if someone could help me out.
I've made a project with several sequences in it (mainly just a sync for main editor).
I've worked off an external hard drive on a PC. Now handed over to the main editor, who is working on a Mac, and saying the media can't be found. I believe it's because PC reads the drive as E:/ where the Mac reads it as the name. Tried collecting footage through Project Manager but that doesn't work either.

Does anyone have a work around? Any help would be great!

Hi Dee Charles,

We're sorry to hear about this. Even if the drive letters change, you will be able to relink the media files. Are you getting any error codes/messages while relinking the media?

Thanks,

Sumeet

Better move everything to local drives and edit from there,

leave externals for backups only, even if you collected files,

move the collected version of your project to local drives, and

better not have too many complicated folders and naming.
