When I go to rename tracks in premiere, I can go in an change the text and as soon as I hit enter the track name goes back to what it was before I went in to rename the track.

I looked back through some forums and saw one for a version of premiere that was a couple years old. Basically what it said was that they were noticing issues if the track name was the same as another track that could cause issues.

A typical track naming for audio for me is...

Lav1

Lav2

SG

Lav1 D (Duplicate at lower level)

Lav2 D (Duplicate at lower level)

SG D (Duplicate at lower level)

LOCK (use for seperation and timeline organization)

Music1

Music2

LOCK

SFX1

SFX2

I'm still notiving the issues even if the track names arent the same. But sometimes adding a space or multiple spaces causes the rename to take.
