are there and solutions to this?
i run windows server 2016 data center edition as my main OS, i wanted to try premiere but despite Server 2016 DC literally just being 10 with some server features
premiere will not install. (adobe should really remove this whole Restricted to certain OS's thing...)
but yet windows server 2016 was litterally released a year after 10...
is compatible with every other windows 10 based application.
only thing that makes something incompatible is if it refuses to install due to it being the wrong os (despite it being fully compatible)

I would presume Windows Server 2016 was released in 2016. The version of Windows 10 being asked for is 1703, released in the spring of 2017.
You may have to switch to Windows 10 proper.
got it to work, by installing it on a windows 10 machine, and then transferring the install folder to my main
further proving my point its perfectly compatible.
How did this go? did it work on Server with full acceleration?
Thanks for your hint. I tried it the way you describe but PremPro won't start. Had to add some dll, but something is still missing. Do you ave further suggestions/informations? That would be great.
