This is my first Post so I don't know all the information that is necessary to help locate the problem, so here I go.

Essentially I load up Adobe Premiere Pro for about 10-15 minutes and then it randomly will freeze my computer to the point that I can't hear audio, mouse won't move, nothing, and I have to physically hit the power button on the tower. I really need to get this work done and it is fairly frustrating. All I know for additional information is that it occured yesterday after I updated Adobe Premiere Pro and Idk if I should just do a fresh reinstall of the program.

Specs:

CPU - Intel Core i7-10700 @ 2.90GHz

GPU - GeForce RTX 2060 Super (Recent Driver: 461.09)

Ram- 32GB

SSD/HDD - 1TB Main Drive SSD & 2TB Side Drive HDD

Age - Fairly new, bought it about 5 months ago.

Please help, I really need to get my program working correctly...

You have the wrong graphics driver. You need the Studio Driver, not the Game Driver:

https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/167762/en-us

NVIDIA STUDIO DRIVER

Version: 460.89
Release Date: 2020.12.15

Do a clean install (Custom installation).

Alright, I'll give it a shot, thank you. I decided to do a fresh reinstall of Adobe Premiere Pro as well. Once it is done I will do the clean driver installation and hope it works

Was actually just about to do that, sorry. I needed to let the program run a little bit to make sure it worked and it did. Thank you for the help!

Had the same problem and I had to roll back to a previous Geforce driver. A lot of people are having issues with this one.
