Project keeps buffering when opened, application won't respond

A project crashed after i had created an adjustment layer, i reoponed the same project and now whenever i open it, it just keeps buffering and i can't click on anything. I have to force quit in order to close the application and every autosave has the same issue.

 

How do i fix this?

and if that doesn't work, try deleting the caches and resetting the preferences.  searching here or googling it will give you instructions for both of these things.

and it wouldn't hurt if you gave us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card.
