Project not opening properly

I am working on video with another co-worker. He uploaded the project and all of the files into Microsoft Teams.

I now have all of the files and the entire project, but when I try to locate the files I am getting a generic error. I have tried importing the files from Teams as well as downloading them manually and importing them to the porject. Even when the files are linked the clips still show up with the grey and blue lines as if the data was missing. 

Several times while the porject was open it crashed my computer and the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both adobe and premiere. I have cleared my cache and everything from the other forums. 

I have no idea what to do. Someone please help.

better that your co-worker uses the project manager to collect the files used in the project,

zip everything and send it as a wetransfer link, let us know what happens after trying this
