I am working on an important school project that is due in 10 days and it won't export.

I couldn't export it for a few days because of Error code:-1609629690

For about 3 days now it will start the render Process but then the export will freeze at 3% every single time.

The problem only occurs with this specific Projekt.

I have talked to the Adobe-support for a few times and I have tried:

-installing a new user on my mac

- resetting the Media-cache

-changed the render settings

-tried to rendering a Quicktime file instead of an H.264 file

-redownloaded Premiere Pro

I am working on a Mac Os Catalina Version 10.15.5 and Premiere Pro version 14.4.0 and I would appreciate any sort of help!!

Hi @Alexa0D45,

Premiere can be fussy with GPU's.

Try disabling it, here's how:

You can also try rendering via Media Encoder. This thread will get you on your way:

Good luck

3% means its always at the same position in the timeline.

If you get an error message you need to fix whatever is on the timeline at the given time in the message.

Best is to delete the section from the project, rename, reimport and do the edit again.

doing a smart render might work.  change your preview format in the sequence setttings to a high quality format like prores 422hq.  Then render the entire timeline.  If it renders successfully and playsback without issues, when you export, make sure the "use previews" is checked.

Hey Alexa,

Please give us your Mac specs: CPU/GPU/RAM/DRIVES. That would help.

Thanks,
Kevin
