Project won't open

When I try to open a project, all I get is a black screen. Even from autosaves...

I can't click any of the menu's along the top banner, I can't move or close the windorw. It's as though there's a dialog box open and until I close it I can't do anything - but there's no dialog box visible. I use dual screens.

We're sorry to hear about this. Please try these steps and check if it is working properly.

• Create a new project
• Navigate to Window > Workspaces > Editing
• Window > Workspaces > Reset to saved layout
• Window > Workspaces > uncheck Import Workspace from Projects 
• File > Import, navigate to the project file you were working with, and import it (importing a project may take some time depending upon the size/complexity of the project).
• Once it's imported, save this new project and check if it's working properly.
