Projects using Mogrts no longer opening after update to 14.4 !!!

Anyone else having massive problems with Premiere 14.4? Projects simply refuse to open after saving!

I created a new project, imported my standard QT422 background video footage I always use to test Mogrts, imported the Mogrt I just made in AE, added it to the timeline, and everything works.
Saved the file as usual, closed Premiere.

Either opening Premiere first and then opening this newly saved file, or double-clicking in Finder to open the file automatically in Premiere, both yield the same result:  Premiere seems to start, but then hangs.
When checking the "Force Quit Applications" window, Premiere is shown as "not responding".

This in effect now renders Premiere completely useless!!  UNACCEPTABLE !!

Found a workaround (which leads me to conclude this is indeed a bug😞
Open a new project first and leave it blank.
If you now open the previously saved project from the file menu, it will indeed open.

I'm having the same issue. I also found that opening a new 'blank' project opens up right away, then with that project open, opening the real project opens up right away. 

Hope they fix this. What a pain.
