I love that Adobe now support ProRes raw for Premier Pro that's lovely!
But I have a lot of issue with the stability with the codec in PP in Windows 10 sadly - because of it's a very cool codec..
What I expereince
- import media is fine and adding to timeline is fine
- adding ect. slog3 gamma works fine as well
- problemes start when I try to play it back - the software starts to freeze and I get messages like the picture attach. - after some time I need to restart the program and try again ..
My pc
Intel I9 14 core
64GB ram
2080TI GPU
high quality motherboard and all other componets.
the systems runs rock solid and smooth even with 6-8k RED raw - so not because of week hardware...
Lastest version af premier pro and windows 10 and latest version of ProRes Raw decoder installed.
ProRes 422 ect. runs smooth as butter!
I tried the same files on my 16" Macbook Pro with medium spec hardware in Premier Pro - it runs fine - not crashes or problems. So my conclusion is that the software is not stable for Windows 10 yet..
have other similar issue or somebody know how to fix it?
