Question about being able to turn a sequence or nest into an editable footage...

Hey all. I've looked everywhere for this solution. Appreciate your time!

I have a project with multiple Sequences (I can convert these to nests if need be). What I want to do is be able to open these sequences/nests as footage/clips. That way I can pick and choose my IN and OUT points and add specific portions of the sequence/nest to my timeline. Is there any way to do this? Or perhaps a different tool/approach?

Many many thanks!

Could you put the sequences in the source monitor, add the in and out points and then insert to your main sequence. When inserting you can chose wether the footage goes in as a 'nest' or as individual clips using the option just under the timecode of the timeline.Sequence or clips.PNG

YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER THANK YOU!

I was trying to do that, but was double clicking the sequence to have it open in the source monitor- which of course just opened up the sequence. I never thought to drag it into the source monitor.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
