"general error" when import menu

Hello,

I have a message "general error" when I'm importing a menu or when I want insert a text in my project with Encore CS6.

Somebody know how to resolve this problem ?

That message is not very instructive, and is not associated with a single problem.

Do you get the error if you create a new project?

Clean the cache: Edit -> Preferences -> Media -> Media Cache Database -> Clean

Reset preferences:

Hold down Ctrl-Shift while starting the program. Deletes AppPreferences.xml; program does not start.
Now start Encore; preferences file is recreated.

This problem may require resetting workspaces.
