Re-synchronize audio in preview?

So I have this happen A LOT, and I'm wondering what I can do about it.  I'm editing a bunch of MP4 files that are all recorded at 25 FPS with 32KHz audio -- they're all a bunch of Zoom presentations.

Anyway, I add a couple to the timeline and do a couple of cuts and all of a sudden the audio is out of sync when I play the preview.  Maybe I've done editing to the audio and maybe I haven't -- it doesn't seem to matter one way or the other.

The ONLY WAY I have found to get the stupid thing to sync up properly again is to save the project, exit Adobe Premiere Pro entirely, then re-load PP and re-load the project. Then it's magicially all synced up again.  And stays that way for awhile.  In fact, it usually stays that way until I start a new project.

But it shouldn't happen at all -- why does it happen?  How do I fix it when it does happen WITHOUT exiting this stupid program and going back into it?

Everything I Google talks about audio not syncing on export -- I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT EXPORT!!! I'm talking about when I'm playing the video in the preview panel.  Why does it get out of sync, and then go back into sync when I close and re-load Premere Pro and re-load the project?

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Hand brake to convert to constant frame rate:

So basically there's no good way to do it without closing and re-opening Premiere Pro anyway, hmm?  If I close and re-open Premiere Pro, it fixes the problem, and I can't implement any of your solutions without closing and re-opening the program anyway...

I was hoping for some kind of "reset audio-sync" key combination or something...  I guess there is no such thing, eh?

What is the source of your video? If it's from a phone or a game recording, it's probably variable frame rate video, which Pr doesn't like and which will cause audio sync problems.

You can use MediaInfo to inspect the footage and Handbrake to convert it to constant frame rate video.
