I've been using Premiere Pro on this computer for about a year, pretty much without any issues. I've started a project over the last couple weeks, and have been getting a rash of "Unable to Create Image Buffer" errors. Occasionally, this even results in a Windows Crash (Blue Screen and reboot).
I have a Dell XPS 1500:
i7 10th Gen (10750H)
Intel UHD Graphics
nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
32GB RAM
1TB EVO 970 Plus
512 EVO 970
The system/apps run on the 1TB, and my media files are on the 512
All within the last couple week, I have updated drivers for both video adapters as well as Premiere itself (Current Premiere Version is 15.2.0 Build 35)
Wondering if others have noticed this. The other factor is, I live in the Southeast and it has been very hot. So... New driver problem? Heat problem?
I also see in the Event Viewer a warning that I'm low on Virtual Memory. I have a static Virtual Memory size of 3x the RAM (so about 96GB).
For heat, has anyone ever tried one of those "laptop cooling pads?" Are they gimmicky or do they actually help?

You could have faulty ram... as for the heat problem, yes, laptop coolers are beneficial if they create a cooler zone around the computer itself. If it's just a fan, it can have limited effect.
