Renaming clips in bins and the timeline

Hi,

I've imported all a new project's footage and renamed appropriately within bins (while keeping the exact media file names as straight out the camera), and then created a timeline.  However, finding out later that the clips needed further renaming I then did this, but the corresponding clips on the timeline have not updated/renamed.  How to do this?
