Render times are incredibly slow vs competition

Hey,

Bit of a weird one here.

Was attempting to export a 20 minute project from Premiere Pro, 1080p60, and was getting thrown back with nearly 2 hour export times. Played around with a few settings after a wealth of Googling, but nothing worked.

I then re-created the project in Davinci Resolve, exactly, and it's exported in less than 5 minutes.

Is there perhaps hardware incompatabilities?

I'm running a Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 3070, and 16GB RAM. Windows 10.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Turning off hardware accelerated decoding worked wonders! Thanks for the support.

Software only rendering can work but you are not using your hardware to it's full capacity. I see problems with the RTX 3000 series GPUs and AMD CPUs all the time. A BIOS update and driver update might help.

@Andy 1968 It's not about rendering, just decoding, not big deal for any modern CPU
