Rendering/Exporting takes 2+ hours for a 1.5 minute video

Hi, I've always worked on Premiere Pro on my laptop (Macbook Pro 2013, 2.4 GHz Intel core i5 8GB) and Ive never had any problems with rendering or exporting. With this 2-minute video I'm working on I've been trying to render and export but it's taking forever. It says estimated time left for rendering is 2 hours and it keeps pausing and going up. If I export the video without rendering it's even worse. What could possibly be causing this? Is my computer just getting old?

If we're going to be able to help, we need some info.  the version of premiere, your source properties and sequence settings...

and what if any effects have you applied to clips?
