Ripple Edit using Q and W keys problems - Adobe Community - 11751975

Community Beginner ,

I'm running Premiere Pro version 14.8.0 (build 39). When I use the W and Q keys to perform a ripple edit the gap isn't completely closed and I'm left with a single frame of black between the clips.

Any ideas what's wrong?
