Hello,
I’m having an issue with the Rolling Edit tool while trimming clips. Basically, when my Select tool is placed between two clips and I press Command to implement the Rolling Edit tool, which is supposed to allow me to trim clips without leaving any gaps between them, I’m not able to move the connection point to the A or B side of Timeline and recieve a note on the clips saying "Trim media limit reached on Footage 1" ( please see attached screenshot video file for reference. ) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Marvin
Your clips dont have any handles. There is no footage to move about hence the error message and indicated by the little white triangle at the beginning/end of the clip. Cannot use the rolling edit tool.
Trim the clips before adding to the timeline or trim them in the timeline. Try the ripple trim tool.

This doesn't help me at all.
Even when I try the frame hold feature...
It's absolutely infuriating.. is there actually a point of having a "media trim limit" that isn't convoluted?

What are you trying to do?
Understand, Premiere doesn't see a frame-hold of same frames as the equivalent of a video clip with a different frame each frame.

A simple voice over ATM,
I eventually tried the same thing about 5 times and it worked, now if I add a frame hold it only takes three tries, I literally have to right click two or three times, and eventually it works..but NEVER on the first try.

Yes.
It is the beginning or end of the clip. There are simply no frames to work with in the direction that it's trying to be stretched.
